Cheap cables will start cutting out and wear out much quicker. Crappy microphone cables will even fall or get pulled out cause the lock fits like crap. A quality cable like a monster will last much longer and has a lifetime warranty so you will never have to purchase a replacement. I lost count of how many crappy cables I've replaced.
60. I was wondering how much of a difference monster speaker wire XP makes a difference. It was like $35 for 50 ft at best buy, which means it will prob cost close to $100 to wire my system when i hook it up. als the guy at best buy was shilling a Monster Digital Fiber Optic Cable and Monster Bass 300 for the subwoofer. very expensive [as in ridiculous]. other than that, the "medium quality" monster cable stuff is not anything astounding" with monster cable, the cable is good and its the ends tend to be kind of fragile [i think they have improved this lately]. the "ground lifted at one end idea" works. you can in fact take a monster cable back to guitar center
For analog signals you can find the same or better build quality for far, far cheaper by other manufacturers. Upgraded from my older Monster cables because we upgraded our 4K tv and blu ray 4K ultra player and what a huge improvement, colors,sound and clearness of the picture that you can actually see the difference on the tv screen. Like I said we had my other Monster cables for about 5yrs and my wife and I noticed the difference.
