I have a 2005 C4 1.4 Petrol and failed MOT because my rear fog lamp was not working at all. After a quick check the front fog lamp is not working too. I have to mention that I just bought the car and noticed about the fault after. I do not have any faults on the dashboard, and when I try to switch on the fog lamps no light is coming on the stalk.

Yesterday, in the rain, I moved off and an alarm and a message, "Distance System fault" or something very similar- popped up briefly. I do have the Active Cruise control on all the time, and my dealer has updated the cruise control unit software and recalibrated it in the past- but it hasn't fixed the problem.
