Something they seemed to have learned in Resident Evil 8. I don't know, it just seems that the gore was too over the top and silly during the first hour or two of Resident Evil 7. TC, no offense, but it seems like you would be more a fan of Silent Hill than RE. 7's influences fit more with the B-movie thing that's always been in the franchise. To achieve this, an eerie soundtrack is absolutely essential, something Resident Evil 2 more than achieves. While Resident Evil 4 has a more fast-paced beat to stick to the action-oriented setting Graphic-wise, Resident Evil 7 is a lot more superior to Resident Evil 6. Accompanied by the brand new RE Engine, shadows and textures feel super, silky smooth. On top of that, the game's first-person perspective puts players in the protagonist's shoes, making it more horrifying than ever.
The baker mansion in 7 looks soo good. 8 is missing that claustrophobic feel to it and they toned down the horror elements too much. The puzzles were better in 7 I think, 8 had some awful ones. 7 felt like classic resident evil
I love Resident evil 7, but I just prefer the setting of RE2 and I like zombies more than the molded. The Baker house was the best part of RE7 and I felt like the rest of the areas never really of the same quality. Remake 2 has more enemies, more weapons, better perspective and gameplay.
There Are Some Differences, However. The most obvious difference between both games is the change in perspective. Resident Evil Village is continuing to use the first-person perspective instead of
SRgZ2.
